In this new wave of cafes, the new Fraser Street Brothers perhaps stand out the most with its vibrant orange and blue colour palette.
The charisma of a good pizza is undeniable when the dough, the sauce, and the toppings are all done just right. At its core, pizza is a very simple dish. Burnt Ends is perhaps known by every foodie in Singapore for its stunning roast meats and amazing sanger burger. But did you know Burnt Ends also had a bakery that churned out arguably the best donuts in Singapore?
Singapore’s food scene has seen no lack of cafes specialising in pastries, but not many can boast of being a mainstay in the scene for as long as Pantler has been.
Indian food to many Singaporeans typically means a few dishes — Prata, Briyani, Butter Chicken and the like. But it’s so much richer and diverse than that and the swanky new Firangi Superstar is here to shake up those preconceived notions.
I’m not usually one to put restaurants on blast — I’d give constructive feedback and will leave satisfied if they’re receptive. However, Santi’s Pizza was an extreme outlier in that regard and my frustration has to be channelled somewhere.
