Having been a regular at Yeast Side’s quaint hideout at King Albert Park, it was exciting to step into the spanking new Farrer Park outlet for the first time. This new space is as lively, unpretentious, and inviting — a trademark of the cafe, which also doubles as a craft beer bar.
There was a sort of palpable excitement as I planted myself into one of the chairs at Olivia Restaurant & Lounge. After staving off a visit in fear of disappointment, a visit was finally planned for this acclaimed Spanish restaurant that sits at the heart of Keong Saik’s crossroads.
Sometimes, drinking doesn’t need to come with all the ornate embellishments and finesse that comes with bars that rank among the World’s 50 Best. Our best nights are those where memories are hazy and tequila shots are muddled into our bloodstream.
