[Update: Salted & Hung has closed. Chef-Owner Drew Nocente has since opened a new concept, Cenzo.] Salted & Hung is a place that’s nestled deep into the crevices of my heart. Well, most Unlisted Collection concepts are infatuations. Needless to say, I found myself excitedly grabbing a table when they launched their redesigned set course menu in May, right before the dreaded dine-out restrictions hit again.
Rowdy Japanese crowds downing too much alcohol, indistinct chatter, simple homely dishes — an enjoyable ambience no doubt but what if an Izakaya was even more fun? Look no further than MoboMoga, the epitome of off-beat and quirky.
[Update: Le Vin Levain has since rebranded into Drunker Farmer and subsequently Common Man Night Shift.] With an ever-growing wave of Artisan Pizza parlours popping up all over Singapore, we’re spoilt for choice. Out of all of them, Le Vin Levain is one that has challenged my perception of price tag vis-a-viz Pizza quality.
